| | Mansell's Indicar Debut A close friend challenged me to paint this based on an old magazine article photo he had. It shows Mansell's win on his debut Indycar race in Surfer's Paradise in 1993 driving for the Newman/Haas team. As a rule, I do not like to work directly from one photograph like this, and certainly not from photos I didn't take myself, but since it wasn't being painted for commercial gain, I thought I'd make an exception for a friend.
